The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cover Teacher (Unqualified) to support the delivery of high-quality education across key stage 3 and key stage 4 in a range of subjects. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects in key stage 3 and key stage 4.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners and ensure effective student engagement.
  • Collaborate with subject departments to maintain and enhance the quality of the curriculum.
  • Provide students with the support and guidance needed to achieve their learning goals.
  • Inspire and motivate students in the classroom to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community by participating in pastoral and extracurricular activities.
  • Uphold the school's values and Christian ethos in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A strong interest in teaching and a commitment to student learning.
  • The ability to deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • A willingness to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
  • Commitment to working within a school with a strong Christian ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or classroom setting, even if not as a qualified teacher.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in teaching methods and educational research.
  • Experience in Religious Studies or a related subject area.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a team-based environment.
