As a Creativity Technician, you will support the Food Technology and Art departments by preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage resources for Food Technology and Art lessons.
- Maintain and ensure the safety of all equipment in the Food Technology and Art departments.
- Assist teachers during lessons to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Support the organisation of creative projects and displays across the school.
- Ensure that all creative spaces are clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Collaborate with the wider creative team to deliver innovative and inspiring learning opportunities.
- Keep accurate records of resource usage and equipment maintenance.
- Contribute to the overall development of the school's creative curriculum.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in Food Technology or Art.
- Previous experience as a Creativity Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
