The Opportunity:

As a Creativity Technician, you will support the Food Technology and Art departments by preparing resources, maintaining equipment, and assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage resources for Food Technology and Art lessons.
  • Maintain and ensure the safety of all equipment in the Food Technology and Art departments.
  • Assist teachers during lessons to enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Support the organisation of creative projects and displays across the school.
  • Ensure that all creative spaces are clean, safe, and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with the wider creative team to deliver innovative and inspiring learning opportunities.
  • Keep accurate records of resource usage and equipment maintenance.
  • Contribute to the overall development of the school's creative curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in Food Technology or Art.
  • Previous experience as a Creativity Technician or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
