Customer Service Manager needed to lead and manage admissions and front office operations at a school.

The Opportunity:

As a Customer Service Manager, you will lead the admissions and front office team, ensuring exceptional service to families and visitors. This role is crucial in maintaining the school’s reputation and providing a welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Admissions Coordinator, Receptionist, and Administrative Coordinator to ensure a professional, service-oriented front office team.
  • Oversee the admissions process to ensure timely, accurate handling of inquiries, applications, testing, and enrollment decisions.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service is consistently delivered to families, visitors, and staff across all touchpoints.
  • Manage student records and systems to maintain accurate data in Veracross and support compliance with school standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate workflows related to admissions, billing, and administrative support.
  • Support school communication and reporting by ensuring timely announcements and providing service and enrollment data to leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Meet or exceed board-mandated qualifications (B2.2.1).
  • Bilingual (Japanese and English) required.
  • Possess training and/or experience in customer service; degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, and relevant systems.

Preferred

  • Experience with school admissions and front office operations.
  • Familiarity with Veracross or similar student information systems.
