The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dance Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across all age groups. This role offers the chance to be part of a thriving co-curricular program and to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives through the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality dance instruction to students from Early Years through to Senior School.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and progressive dance curriculum.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school, including leading dance clubs and societies.
  • Support evening and weekend dance recitals and performances throughout the year.
  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and guidance to students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant dance education experience.
  • Strong knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy across all age groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Experience in delivering co-curricular activities and student leadership programs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a British international school or similar educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the IB Diploma and IGCSE curricula.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in performing arts or extracurricular performance events.
  • Fluency in a second language.
