The Opportunity:
As a Data Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of data systems within the school. This is a vital position that supports the efficient management of student and staff timetables, as well as the administration of key data processes throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation and maintenance of staff and student timetables using eTimetable and Bromcom.
- Import and update timetables to meet academy and federation deadlines.
- Process changes to timetables throughout the year and issue updated versions as required.
- Collect and update Bromcom with prior data for new students.
- Administer the End of Year Process on Bromcom.
- Maintain staff user accounts on Bromcom.
- Conduct KS4 and KS5 DfE Checking Exercises.
- Schedule regular reports and support staff with data systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience working with MIS systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to compile reports and documentation.
- Experience working to targets and deadlines.
- Confidence in delivering training and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred
- Experience with Bromcom or similar data management systems.
- Familiarity with DfE data requirements and processes.
- Background in education or school administration.
