The Opportunity:

As a Data Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of data systems within the school. This is a vital position that supports the efficient management of student and staff timetables, as well as the administration of key data processes throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of staff and student timetables using eTimetable and Bromcom.
  • Import and update timetables to meet academy and federation deadlines.
  • Process changes to timetables throughout the year and issue updated versions as required.
  • Collect and update Bromcom with prior data for new students.
  • Administer the End of Year Process on Bromcom.
  • Maintain staff user accounts on Bromcom.
  • Conduct KS4 and KS5 DfE Checking Exercises.
  • Schedule regular reports and support staff with data systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience working with MIS systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and numeracy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to compile reports and documentation.
  • Experience working to targets and deadlines.
  • Confidence in delivering training and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred

  • Experience with Bromcom or similar data management systems.
  • Familiarity with DfE data requirements and processes.
  • Background in education or school administration.
