Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of the maths curriculum across key stages.
- Work closely with the Curriculum Leader to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Support the professional development of maths teachers through mentoring and training.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and cross-phase collaboration.
- Ensure alignment with national standards and Ofsted expectations.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of staff development programmes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in maths education.
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of maths curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership role within a school or multi-academy trust.
- Familiarity with maths hubs or CPD initiatives such as White Rose Education.
- Experience in driving curriculum innovation and improvement.
- Strong understanding of assessment and progress tracking.
