Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of the primary school's academic and pastoral strategy.
- Work closely with the Executive Head to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, British curriculum adapted to local regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning, ensuring the highest standards of educational achievement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement across the school.
- Provide leadership and support to the teaching and support staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Oversee the implementation of school policies, initiatives, and projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Promote the school's values and mission through all aspects of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree with post-graduate leadership qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in academic leadership and a track record of success in teaching and school management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- High level of organisational and administrative skills.
- Commitment to the pursuit of academic excellence and the development of teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience with British curriculum schools or international education settings.
- Familiarity with bilingual education and the Chinese education system.
- Experience in supporting the co-curricular life of a school.
- Leadership experience in a senior school or multi-academy trust setting.
