Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain practical resources and facilities for Design and Technology and Art.
- Provide technical support to staff and students during lessons and practical activities.
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of teaching materials and equipment.
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of all resources and facilities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of resource usage and maintenance needs.
- Support the development and implementation of new practical learning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a similar technical support role within an educational setting.
- Ability to manage and maintain a range of practical resources and equipment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in Design and Technology or Art education.
- Knowledge of current teaching practices and curriculum requirements.
- Experience with the use of ICT and digital resources in education.
- Previous experience in a school environment.
