Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Support the development of the Super Curricular programme through extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Stay up to date with developments in Design and Technology and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Participate in departmental meetings and staff training sessions.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral and non-academic responsibilities.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
- Experience in teaching Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering the Super Curricular programme or similar initiatives.
- Experience with Early Career Teacher support or mentorship.
- Knowledge of industry-standard Design and Technology practices and tools.
- Experience in using digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
