Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Design and Technology education.
- Support the personal and academic development of students through pastoral care and mentorship.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student achievement and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design and Technology.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area and current teaching methodologies.
- Experience working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular activities in Design and Technology.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in the field.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on innovation and student development.
- Previous experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
