The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and creative Design & Robotics Teacher to deliver engaging, project-based learning within an IB framework. This role offers the chance to inspire students with future-focused skills in robotics, design, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Robotics and Design within the Secondary School (IB framework)
  • Plan and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that foster critical thinking
  • Develop students’ problem-solving, coding, and design-thinking skills
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary STEM projects
  • Contribute to extracurricular STEM initiatives and competitions
  • Uphold IB philosophy and educational values in all aspects of teaching

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science, or related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching robotics, design technology, or related subjects
  • Strong knowledge of coding platforms, digital tools, and prototyping
  • Excellent classroom management and collaborative skills
  • Legal right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid permit)

Preferred

  • Experience within the IB MYP and/or DP
  • Experience in an international school setting
  • Ability to contribute to wider STEM curriculum development
