Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in developing practical skills and knowledge in design, engineering, and technology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and cross-subject projects.

  • Maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment with a focus on positive behaviour and student wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Technology curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet student needs.
  • Experience in managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Commitment to student success, inclusivity, and high standards of teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular projects or STEM initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design and technology tools and software.
  • Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Involvement in extracurricular or enrichment activities related to Design Technology.
