Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that inspire and engage students
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning
- Support students in achieving excellent examination results
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve departmental performance
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Design Technology
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology
- Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners
- Ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students
Preferred
- Experience with teaching across all key stages
- Background in providing individualised professional development
- Familiarity with modern Design Technology equipment and software
- Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are especially encouraged to apply
