Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons that inspire and engage students
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning
  • Support students in achieving excellent examination results
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve departmental performance
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Design Technology
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology
  • Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners
  • Ability to deliver effective and engaging lessons
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching across all key stages
  • Background in providing individualised professional development
  • Familiarity with modern Design Technology equipment and software
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are especially encouraged to apply
