Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation, curiosity, and a love of learning.
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives and events.
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and core values at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development.
- Engage in continuous professional development and performance management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design Technology or equivalent.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
- Willingness to contribute to wider school life and professional learning culture.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Familiarity with international curriculum standards and assessment frameworks.
