The Opportunity:
A Design Technology Technician is needed to support the delivery of high-quality practical lessons and to ensure the safe and effective use of resources. This role plays a key part in enhancing student learning and engagement in Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and delivery of practical lessons across Design Technology disciplines
- Provide technical guidance and ensure the safe use of materials and equipment
- Maintain and manage Design Technology equipment and resources
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety protocols
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of enrichment activities, trips, and events
- Liaise with teaching staff to support the effective delivery of the Design Technology curriculum
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessments
- Assist with the marking out and cutting of materials to specific sizes
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Fluency in English
Preferred
- Previous experience in Design Technology
- Experience with the maintenance and use of Design Technology equipment
