The Opportunity:

As a Development Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s fundraising efforts and ensuring the accurate management of its database. This position offers the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause by helping provide free places for students, while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school’s database with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and internal teams, to support fundraising initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support fundraising events aimed at increasing the number of free places available.
  • Assist with general office administration and development-related tasks.
  • Ensure all records are up to date and in line with the school’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Development Office team to achieve fundraising targets.
  • Provide administrative support for the Fitzwygram Foundation and related events.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience in office or database administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a development or fundraising role.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software or database systems.
  • Graduate qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience with event planning and management.
  • Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
