The Opportunity:

The Director of Admissions and Marketing will lead efforts in pupil recruitment and marketing, playing a key role in shaping the school's visibility and attracting high-quality applicants. This is a strategic and impactful position within the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions and marketing strategy to meet recruitment targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, schools, and external partners.
  • Manage and oversee the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for applicants.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to enhance the school’s profile.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align admissions and marketing activities with the school’s strategic goals.
  • Analyze recruitment data and trends to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Support the school’s events and open days, contributing to a welcoming and engaging environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in admissions and marketing within the education sector, preferably in independent schools.
  • Strong leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving recruitment targets and growing school visibility.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of the independent school sector and its unique recruitment and marketing challenges.
  • Experience in managing a budget and overseeing external agencies or vendors.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
