The Opportunity:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. This role is part of a supportive team that plays a key part in ensuring the school runs smoothly and provides a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, and shared areas
- Clean fixtures, fittings, floors, walls, and internal woodwork in line with cleaning schedules
- Maintain toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas to high standards
- Support deep-cleaning programmes during school closures or designated breaks
- Collect and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
- Refill and replace supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
- Keep cleaning materials organised and stored securely
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the school environment is maintained to the highest standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Required

- Friendly and respectful approach to students and colleagues
Preferred
- Previous cleaning experience
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Flexibility to work during school holidays and out-of-hours as required
