Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to a consistently high standard
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Services Department
- Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures
- Assist with special events and functions as required
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a cleaning or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and term-time only
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
Preferred
- Experience working in an educational or residential setting
- Previous experience with cleaning in a large or complex environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Good communication skills
