Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver dynamic, interactive drama lessons that promote creativity and student engagement.
- Facilitate and direct student theater productions, ensuring high-quality performances and meaningful learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into the broader curriculum and support student development.
- Support students in achieving academic and personal growth through drama education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the drama department.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful classroom environment.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in drama education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject or relevant teaching certification.
- Valid teaching license.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Experience teaching drama or theater arts.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience in directing or producing student theatrical performances.
