Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality drama education in line with the MYP and IBDP curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative theatre programs that meet academic and performance standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through theatre and performance.
- Assess student progress using data-informed methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
- Stay updated with current educational trends and integrate them into teaching practices.
- Mentor and guide students in developing their creative, critical thinking, and performance skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A university degree and recognised teaching qualification.
- Extensive experience in teaching drama, preferably within the IB program.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to data-informed teaching and achieving high academic outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop others effectively.
Preferred
- Experience with the MYP and IBDP Theatre curriculum.
- A passion for theatre and performance.
- Experience with international education and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Familiarity with Nord Anglia Education initiatives and resources.
