Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama education in line with the MYP and IBDP curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative theatre programs that meet academic and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals through theatre and performance.
  • Assess student progress using data-informed methods and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and integrate them into teaching practices.
  • Mentor and guide students in developing their creative, critical thinking, and performance skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A university degree and recognised teaching qualification.
  • Extensive experience in teaching drama, preferably within the IB program.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to data-informed teaching and achieving high academic outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop others effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with the MYP and IBDP Theatre curriculum.
  • A passion for theatre and performance.
  • Experience with international education and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Nord Anglia Education initiatives and resources.
