The Opportunity:

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds through a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. You will create a nurturing environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning in children aged 18 months to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum that fosters curiosity and creativity.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
  • Maintain detailed records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents.
  • Support and guide children through transitions and individual learning needs.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive environment for all children and families.
  • Engage in community-building activities and events that support the school’s mission.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of post-qualification experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience with Reggio Emilia, Australia, or New Zealand teaching methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual or multicultural teaching environments.
  • Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach and its principles.
  • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to support children with diverse learning needs.
