The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage department
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the English EYFS Curriculum
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Supervise and mentor EYFS teachers and support staff
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with school goals and policies
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A certified Early Years teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed and equivalents)
  • Proven experience teaching the English EYFS Curriculum
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a school team, preferably within EYFS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Native English speaker
  • Experience in an international or multicultural educational setting
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate or similar programs
  • Experience in supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
