Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to support individual learning and development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme and support student wellbeing through pastoral care.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents to support student progress and build positive relationships.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in Early Years education with a passion for teaching and student development.
  • Strong ability to assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in working with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and leadership in an educational setting.
  • Relevant qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent with postgraduate study experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in a boarding school environment.
  • Background in curriculum development and department planning.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a teaching team.
