The Opportunity:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0–4 years. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and qualified professionals to contribute to the early development of young children within a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–4 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment that encourages learning and development.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress regularly, maintaining detailed records and sharing updates with parents.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met at all times.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified to either NVQ Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children aged 0–4 years.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a similar role within a school or early years setting.
- A passion for early childhood education and development.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
