Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education that supports the holistic development of children.
  • Create engaging and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in young children.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Participate in in-house training and continuing professional development opportunities.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support children's learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.
  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with outdoor learning and play-based activities.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or working with diverse families.
  • Flexibility to work part-time or on a flexible schedule.
