Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality early years education that supports the holistic development of children.
- Create engaging and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in young children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Participate in in-house training and continuing professional development opportunities.
- Engage with parents and carers to support children's learning and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience with outdoor learning and play-based activities.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or working with diverse families.
- Flexibility to work part-time or on a flexible schedule.
