The Opportunity:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early educational experiences of children aged 3 to 6. This is a dynamic and impactful role within a nurturing and stimulating Pre-School environment that prepares children for future learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Collaborate with the Head of Pre-School and teaching staff to maintain a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in providing wrap-around care, including Breakfast Club, After School Club, and Holiday Clubs.
- Act as a Key Worker for a group of children, monitoring and recording their progress.
- Ensure the promotion of safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Have experience working in a Pre-School, Nursery, KS1, or similar setting.
- Demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills and a sound understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
- Possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work flexibly as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
