The Opportunity:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the early educational experiences of children aged 3 to 6. This is a dynamic and impactful role within a nurturing and stimulating Pre-School environment that prepares children for future learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Pre-School and teaching staff to maintain a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist in providing wrap-around care, including Breakfast Club, After School Club, and Holiday Clubs.
  • Act as a Key Worker for a group of children, monitoring and recording their progress.
  • Ensure the promotion of safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • Have experience working in a Pre-School, Nursery, KS1, or similar setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills and a sound understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work flexibly as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
