The Opportunity:

An Early Years Practitioner is sought to join a dedicated team, providing education and care for children aged 1-4. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational and developmental needs of children aged 1-4
  • Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of daily activities and routines
  • Support the nursery team in ensuring the well-being and engagement of all children
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualification in Early Years Education (NNEB/NVQ Level 2)
  • Experience working with children aged 1-4
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy nursery environment

Preferred

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Experience in a similar role within a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge of inclusive practices and special educational needs support
