The Opportunity:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be instrumental in supporting the development of children aged 6 months to 4 years. You will create engaging learning experiences that nurture social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of young children through interactive play and stimulating activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and participation.
  • Implement educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Work closely with children and their families to support their learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery setting.
  • Participate in staff training and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Level 3 qualification in childcare.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.

Preferred

  • Experience in creating and implementing fun and stimulating lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with child development and play-based learning.
