The Opportunity:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be instrumental in supporting the development of children aged 6 months to 4 years. You will create engaging learning experiences that nurture social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of young children through interactive play and stimulating activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and participation.
- Implement educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Work closely with children and their families to support their learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery setting.
- Participate in staff training and development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
Preferred
- Experience in creating and implementing fun and stimulating lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with child development and play-based learning.
