The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 to join our dedicated team and support the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 2 to 4. This is a full-time, fixed-term position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and education for young children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children through play and structured activities
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of learning environments and resources
- Support the implementation of the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of child development principles (training provided if needed)
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior staff
Preferred
- Experience working in an early years setting
- Knowledge of early years curricula and teaching frameworks
- Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Flexibility to work shift patterns including early mornings and late afternoons
