The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 to join our dedicated team and support the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 2 to 4. This is a full-time, fixed-term position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality care and education for young children in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Work collaboratively with experienced staff to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
  • Promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children through play and structured activities
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of learning environments and resources
  • Support the implementation of the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of child development principles (training provided if needed)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior staff

Preferred

  • Experience working in an early years setting
  • Knowledge of early years curricula and teaching frameworks
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns including early mornings and late afternoons
