The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and social development.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on children’s progress using effective recording and evaluation methods.
  • Collaborate with bilingual teaching teams to support the immersion concept of One Person, One Language.
  • Support the implementation of both the German Lower Saxony curriculum and the UK EYFS curriculum.
  • Utilise technology, including iPad-based tools, to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and colleagues through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in English (native or C1 level).
  • Experience in teaching young children (1–6 years) with a focus on interactive and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Strong ability to monitor, assess, and report on children’s development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using IT tools, including iPad technology.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching bilingual or trilingual learners.
  • Knowledge of German or willingness to learn the basics.
  • Familiarity with international curricula such as the UK EYFS.
