The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver age-appropriate pedagogy with enthusiasm and creativity
  • Plan and deliver curriculum with clear learning objectives
  • Meet the learning needs of all students, including language learners and those with diverse abilities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Use assessment to set realistic and challenging targets for student improvement
  • Manage and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Support student behavior and discipline in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in professional development and staff initiatives
  • Engage in after-school programs and extracurricular activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree with teaching emphasis or completion of a teacher preparation programme
  • Certification in teaching from a recognised institution
  • Police clearance to work with children
  • Strong communication skills in the language/s of instruction
  • Ability to supervise students in non-classroom settings
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in education or subject-related field
  • Experience in an internationally accredited school
  • Experience and certification in teaching the school programmes
  • Strong communication skills in English
