Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that promote student engagement and learning.
- Support students according to their individual needs, differentiating instruction for varying abilities.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to share best practices and contribute to a professional learning community.
- Maintain high expectations and ensure all students achieve beyond their current potential.
- Prepare and manage classroom resources, including organizing and sourcing learning materials.
- Assign, grade, and report on student work to track progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage student participation in classroom cleanliness and school activities.
- Attend school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives.
- Support students during school and after-school hours through extra-curricular and additional support programs.
- Actively contribute to the school's monthly magazine and participate in personal and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- University degree with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum three years of recent classroom teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the Early Years level.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to actively participate in school extra-curricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school environment.
- Recent academic and pastoral leadership experience.
- Knowledge of EAL (English as an Additional Language) teaching.
