Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality early years education using a child-centered approach
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of young children
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive learning experience across the school
- Support the school’s mission by contributing to staff development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and development
- Participate in school events and community activities that enhance the learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified primary teacher with experience in an Early Years setting
- EU or British nationality status
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working in an international school environment
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving educational setting
Preferred
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESL/EAL)
- Willingness to learn Spanish to support integration into the local community
- Experience with curriculum development and early years pedagogy
- Familiarity with British International School standards and practices
