The Opportunity:
As an Early Years Teacher, you will inspire curiosity and support individual development in a safe, inclusive environment. You will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, while fostering a positive classroom culture and promoting wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote exploration, active learning, and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners and support their personal, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and support staff to observe, assess, and track children’s progress.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents and maintain effective communication with colleagues and families.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and engage in continuous professional development.
- Uphold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant university degree and a recognised teaching or Early Years qualification.
- Experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to plan engaging and effective learning experiences for all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Understanding of early years pedagogy and a proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
