The Opportunity:
An Early Years Teacher is needed to join a passionate and professional team dedicated to providing a progressive, child-led learning environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a vibrant, international setting, with a focus on inquiry-based learning and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a class of children aged 1–3 or 3–6 years in a safe, purposeful learning environment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support the physical, social, and emotional development of children
- Plan, observe, and assess learning effectively, communicating progress to parents and managers
- Create and maintain a stimulating environment that reflects the school’s ethos
- Provide regular written and verbal updates to parents on child development
- Collaborate with the wider school team to deliver the curriculum and school policies
- Uphold the school's values and safeguard the well-being of children
- Support and lead other staff members within the classroom and school
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or equivalent
- PGCE in Early Years Education, Primary Education, or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching children aged 1.5–3 or 3–6 years
- Strong knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach, Early Years Foundation Stage, and Birth to Five frameworks
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage change and demonstrate resilience
Preferred
- Experience in an international school setting
- Fluency in English and other languages (e.g., Thai)
- Experience in curriculum development and staff leadership
- Familiarity with child safeguarding policies and practices
