As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the educational journey of young learners through a stimulating and developmentally appropriate programme. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver a challenging, innovative and exciting EYFS curriculum tailored to the needs of Pre-Nursery, Kindergarten 1, and Kindergarten 2 students.
• Create and implement engaging lessons that promote learning through play and support individual development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that is well-organized and inviting.
• Support and contribute to the outdoor Forest School Educational Program.
• Build strong, nurturing relationships with students and their families to ensure a supportive and engaging learning experience.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed Tapestry Portfolios of Learning to track development and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including the Mandarin co-teacher, to enhance teaching practices and share professional knowledge.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with families to keep them informed of student progress and school activities.
• Participate in school events and activities, including assemblies, parent evenings, and workshops, as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• University degree and a recognized qualification (such as PGCE) in Early Childhood Education.
• Native-level English speaker.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Early Years education, preferably in an international setting.
• Experience teaching second language learners.
• Knowledge and experience in EYFS curriculum development and assessment.

Preferred

• Experience with the Reggio Emilia Approach.
• Knowledge of and experience in Forest School education.
