The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching team in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons
  • Assist with planning and implementing activities that promote learning and development
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to child development
  • Encourage creativity and curiosity through interactive and play-based learning
  • Monitor and support children’s progress and well-being throughout the day
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years or Early Childhood
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Commitment to high standards and a willingness to go above and beyond

Preferred

  • Experience in an early years setting
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories
  • Experience with outdoor learning and physical activities
  • Understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching practices
