The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a vibrant and supportive setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to creating a positive impact on young children’s development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching team in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons
- Assist with planning and implementing activities that promote learning and development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach to child development
- Encourage creativity and curiosity through interactive and play-based learning
- Monitor and support children’s progress and well-being throughout the day
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years or Early Childhood
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Commitment to high standards and a willingness to go above and beyond
Preferred
- Experience in an early years setting
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Experience with outdoor learning and physical activities
- Understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching practices
