The Opportunity:
The ECA and Pastoral Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting student engagement, wellbeing, and holistic development. This position is ideal for someone passionate about student leadership, extracurricular programs, and fostering a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the after-school club program across arts, sports, STEM, and leadership.
- Coordinate school events, competitions, and inter-house activities.
- Maintain ECA timetables, attendance records, and parent communication.
- Collaborate with teachers and external providers to design engaging programs.
- Oversee ECA resources and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Support the implementation of behaviour and pastoral care policies.
- Coordinate with homeroom teachers and Heads of School to monitor student wellbeing.
- Lead student leadership initiatives, assemblies, and positive behaviour programs.
- Communicate with parents about ECA participation and student progress.
- Prepare termly reports on program impact and student engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in education or student affairs.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in event coordination, student engagement, or wellbeing programs.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Additional language skills.
- Experience in pastoral care or student leadership programs.
