The Opportunity:
As the Educational Technology Leader TLR2, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s digital strategy. You will bridge the gap between educational technology and classroom practice, driving innovation and ensuring equitable access to modern learning tools. This is a leadership and coaching role that empowers teachers and enhances student learning through the use of emerging technologies like AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support teachers in designing and implementing meaningful strategies to integrate technology into classrooms.
- Model teaching practices, co-teach, and offer in-class support to enhance learning and student engagement through technology.
- Support the planning, integration, and roll out of new systems, such as the ESF Hub.
- Foster a learning environment that is both personalised and inclusive, using technology to meet diverse student needs.
- Develop clarity around technology integration as new tools become available, such as AI.
- Represent the school in ESF-wide groups and committees related to educational technology.
- Promote continuous innovation in digital and modern teaching methods across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, or Bachelor's Degree in any field with a PGCE, or equivalent.
- 5 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Understanding of the IB curriculum and its key underpinnings.
Preferred
- Experience teaching DP Computer Science.
- Ability to model lessons and co-teach in the classroom.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as AI.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience in data-informed instruction and professional development.
