The Opportunity:
As an Electrical Installation Trainer Assessor, you will play a key role in developing and delivering training programs for learners in the Construction Division. You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating their progress, ensuring they meet the required standards and qualifications. This is a vital role in shaping the future of skilled workers in the electrical installation field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for learners in the Construction Division.
- Prepare and implement assessment plans to evaluate learners’ progress in the workplace.
- Maintain and update individual learning plans to ensure timely achievement of qualifications.
- Liaise with employers to support learners and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Deliver underpinning knowledge and training sessions to learners in the workplace.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of learners to ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to learners throughout their training journey.
- Ensure all training and assessment activities align with the school’s standards and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 3 qualification in a craft specified occupational area.
- Experience in training and/or supervising learners.
- Ability to liaise effectively with employers.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Understanding of assessment processes and requirements.
Preferred
- Experience with assessment planning and implementation.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of electrical installation standards and practices.
- Experience with awarding bodies and SFA requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
