Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess students in the Electrical Department within the Faculty of Construction.
- Deliver on-site assessments for apprentices to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Support 6th Form and Apprentice Electricians with their learning and development.
- Provide clear and engaging explanations to help students understand complex concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues and wider teams to enhance the learning experience for students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Industry experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and simply.
- Passion for helping students succeed in construction roles.
- Experience in at least one of the building trades.
Preferred
- Teaching or assessor qualification.
- Experience in training or education.
- Familiarity with vocational training and assessment methods.
