The Opportunity:

As an Elementary Curriculum Coordinator, you will lead curriculum development, support teachers in creating student-centered lessons, and ensure alignment with global standards. This role offers the chance to shape educational practices and drive continuous improvement across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review, alignment, and implementation of curriculum frameworks to ensure consistency across grade levels and subjects.
  • Support teachers in developing inquiry-based, standards-driven, and student-centered unit and lesson plans.
  • Provide guidance on integrating cross-curricular themes such as global citizenship, SEL, and digital literacy.
  • Coordinate assessment practices to ensure alignment with standards, benchmarks, and reporting systems.
  • Model effective instructional strategies including differentiation, UDL, and EAL-inclusive practices.
  • Facilitate professional learning communities, workshops, and coaching cycles for faculty.
  • Support new faculty orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training in curriculum and instructional approaches.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement professional development plans aligned with school goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of successful full-time elementary teaching experience in an accredited school setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with curriculum design, implementation, and assessment practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain a work visa in Korea (successful completion of a drug screening process per Korean law).

Preferred

  • Previous leadership experience as a coordinator, instructional coach, or team lead.
  • Experience in international school settings.
  • Training in EAL support, inclusive practices, or instructional coaching.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes (CIS, WASC, IB, etc.).
