Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curricular goals and the school’s philosophy.
  • Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom activities.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents.
  • Manage a positive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student success through shared planning and professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school staff to support student growth and well-being.
  • Supervise and participate in extracurricular activities, devotions, and school events as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic reports in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant subject area.
  • Valid state/provincial teaching credential.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and promote a positive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching young children (K-2).
