Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging physical education curriculum aligned with national and international standards
  • Deliver effective lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and student participation
  • Assess student performance using standards-based grading and provide timely, relevant feedback
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, advisors, and other teachers to support student learning and development
  • Facilitate after-school activities and clubs that promote student engagement and wellness
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social-emotional needs of all students
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school counselors to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject, with relevant certifications in physical education
  • Minimum of two years of successful elementary experience working as a full-time teacher in an accredited school setting
  • Experience in classroom instruction and assessment
  • Ability to obtain a work visa in Korea (including successful completion of a drug screening process per Korean law)

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of overseas teaching experience
  • Training and experience in working with second language learners
  • Experience facilitating advisory sessions, grade-level teams, and after-school activities
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student well-being
