The Opportunity:

As an ELL Support Teacher and Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students transitioning from Thailand standards to the British Curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a unique and diverse educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with English as an Additional Language (ELL) through tailored instruction and intervention strategies.
  • Substitute for regular classroom teachers when needed, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of teaching.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and teaching teams.
  • Participate in professional development and training programs to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Teaching qualification or certification (e.g., QTS, TEFL, TESOL).
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
  • Strong knowledge of English language development and teaching methodologies.
  • Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the British Curriculum or international education systems.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and special needs support.
  • Experience in early years or primary education.
  • Fluency in Thai or another Southeast Asian language.
