The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced English Literature Teacher (GCSE) to join our Easter Revision Programme. This role offers the chance to support students in consolidating their learning and preparing for exams in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction to help students consolidate learning and prepare for exams
- Tailor teaching to individual student needs and provide targeted support
- Create a positive, engaging, and motivating classroom environment
- Offer guidance to boost students’ confidence and academic skills
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and academic staff
- Develop and implement effective revision strategies for GCSE students
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback
- Ensure all teaching materials align with UK exam board requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant academic degree or teaching qualification
- Previous teaching experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of UK exam boards and their requirements in English Literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and provide effective feedback
Preferred
- Experience with teaching GCSE-level English Literature
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Strong passion for teaching and inspiring students
