Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 11–18, aligned with GCSE standards.
- Plan and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a leadership programme that fosters character and social responsibility.
- Support the school’s mission by contributing to a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven ability to teach English to GCSE standard.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to working in a values-based, inclusive environment.
Preferred
- Experience in a faith-based or leadership-focused school setting.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology integration.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
