Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across Years 7 to 13.
- Support students’ academic progress and personal development through effective teaching and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with the wider English Faculty team to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Model excellent teaching practices and maintain high standards of classroom management.
- Contribute to the development of drama provision where appropriate.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities within the school and Trust.
- Engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a positive and supportive manner.
- Prepare and assess students' work in line with school and Trust expectations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
- Experience teaching students across Years 7 to 13.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Drama.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in providing pastoral support to students.
- Demonstrated success in delivering CPD and mentoring colleagues.
- Familiarity with the Inicio Educational Trust and its values.
