The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join a school offering the IB MYP, DP, and AP programs. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a love of learning in students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with IB MYP, DP, and AP standards.
• Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies that support diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver cross-curricular and co-curricular programs.
• Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth through individualized feedback and guidance.
• Stay current with educational research and best practices, incorporating these into teaching methods.
• Participate in school-wide events, community service initiatives, and leadership opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic and extracurricular programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in English (Language and Literature) with a relevant specialism.
• A recognized teaching certification (e.g., Teaching License, PGCE, Teaching Diploma).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at high-performing international schools.
• Demonstrable experience with American Common Core Standards and Advanced Placement.

Preferred

• A Master’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience with Inclusion/SEND/EAL strategies.
• Strong Continuing Professional Development (CPD) portfolio.
• Experience with international curricula, including IB MYP and DP.
